Demystyfing conflicts in organization

In the world of business, results matter. Everyone has goals to achieve, although there are many ways to achieve them. Unfortunately, we often encounter various obstacles, the most common of which is different visions of how to reach our goal. We work in a team, in an organization with a large number of dependencies and connections. It is difficult to achieve consistency in such conditions.

Aim far, look close – or how to win in your resolutions?

In 2017 I started writing down 1-2 goals at the beginning of each year. It all began with my health. The stomach pain became unbearable, and all tests were OK. Unfortunately, it turned out that it was most likely stress. For me, it meant I had to slow down and calm down. Easy to say, I thought, smiling through my tears.

I looked at photos on the Internet, listened to the stories of friends who were there and I wanted to go there someday. Holidays should be a time of joy, love and spending time together with family. “Should” is key here, because this word often acts as pressure. As a result, for many of us, the holiday season also becomes a time of stress and conflict.

How to start…

In my work and everyday family life, I have always paid (and still do) great attention to development. I read a lot and trained myself to do everything better and more effectively. Each time I was gaining new knowledge and ideas, I wanted immediately to implement them in my life. And usually I was met with misunderstanding, frustration and, on top of that, my inner critic who scolded me for every failure.
